Refunds

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and AI credit pack purchases on Arky. It supplements our Terms of Use and does not limit any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

Summary

You may request a full refund of your first paid subscription if you contact us within 14 days for a monthly plan or 30 days for an annual plan, and your AI usage during that period does not exceed the monthly allowance of the Free plan. This money-back guarantee applies once per user and does not apply to renewal payments, re-subscriptions, or plan-change charges.

1. New monthly subscription: 14-day money-back

You may request a full refund of your first paid monthly subscription charge if all of the following are true:

  • You contact us within 14 days of that first charge.
  • Your AI usage during that period does not exceed the monthly allowance of the Free plan (currently $2 in AI usage).
  • This is your first paid subscription charge as a user.

Renewal payments, re-subscriptions, and plan-change charges are not eligible.

2. New annual subscription: 30-day money-back

You may request a full refund of your first paid annual subscription charge if all of the following are true:

  • You contact us within 30 days of that first charge.
  • Your AI usage during that period does not exceed the monthly allowance of the Free plan.
  • This is your first paid subscription charge as a user.

After the 30-day window, annual subscriptions are not eligible for a prorated cash refund of the unused portion.

3. Annual subscription: mid-term cancellation and downgrades

  • Cancelling an annual subscription mid-term does not produce a cash refund. You retain access to the paid plan until the end of the current annual billing period.
  • Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period (no immediate switch).
  • Unused annual subscription time after the 30-day money-back period is not refundable in cash or as account credit.

4. Auto-renewal payments

  • Renewal charges are not refundable. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings to prevent the next renewal.
  • Annual renewals are preceded by a reminder email at least 7 days before the charge.
  • Cancellation can be completed in one click from the same channel you used to subscribe.
  • On account deletion: If you delete your account, your paid plan access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which auto-renewal is automatically cancelled. No separate refund is issued.

5. AI credit packs

  • A credit pack is refundable in full only if (a) you contact us within 14 days of purchase and (b) you have not used a single credit from that pack.
  • Once any credit from a pack has been used, the pack is not eligible for a full or partial refund.
  • Unused credits past the 14-day window are not refundable but remain usable until expiration.
  • Credits are not cash, cash equivalents, deposits, or stored value, and may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged.

6. Exceptional refunds

We may issue refunds outside of the standard rules above in cases of:

  • Duplicate charges, billing errors, or clearly incorrect charges.
  • Material service failures attributable to Arky.
  • Discontinuation of a core paid feature, or a materially adverse pricing or packaging change applied to your current prepaid term. In such cases, we may issue a prorated refund for the unused portion of that term or an equivalent remedy.
  • Refunds required by applicable consumer protection law in your region.

Approved exceptional refunds may result in immediate termination of the related subscription entitlement, or termination at a separately announced date.

7. How to request a refund

  • Email help@arky.so from the email address associated with the account that was charged.
  • If you cannot access that email address, include the charged account email in your request so we can verify ownership.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider.
  • If your purchase was made through a third-party app store, reseller, or payment channel, refund requests must be submitted through that provider and follow that provider's refund policy.

8. Grounds for refund denial

We may decline a refund request when we reasonably determine any of the following:

  • Confirmed use of the paid plan beyond the Free plan monthly allowance during the money-back window (for subscription refunds), or any usage of credits from the purchased pack (for credit pack refunds).
  • Violation of our Terms of Use.
  • Repeated refund requests, multi-account abuse, or automated abuse patterns.
  • Re-subscription on the same account, payment method, or email after a previous refund, used to circumvent this policy.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including:

  • EU / EEA: 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
  • United Kingdom: equivalent statutory withdrawal rights.
  • Republic of Korea: right of subscription withdrawal under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (Article 17).

If you are an EU/EEA or UK consumer who has expressly consented to immediate performance of the digital service and acknowledged the loss of your withdrawal right, your statutory withdrawal right may not apply.
