FAQs
1. Does Arky support collaboration?
Collaboration is partly there. Real-time co-editing is in alpha right now and still rough around the edges. We're stabilizing it, and a fully stable rollout is coming in an upcoming update.
2. How is Arky different from Notion or MS Word?
We built Arky for structured thinking, not chat. Think a dynamic canvas wired into a real document, instead of just a flat list of blocks.
3. How is it different from Figma or Miro?
Arky's canvas looks like Figma or Miro, but you can build logical structure right on it. Headings, paragraphs, and hierarchy, all organized with AI.
4. Where are my documents stored?
Your docs live in the cloud on Supabase. Everything auto-saves and syncs in real-time.
5. Is my data safe?
Yes. Each user's data is isolated and managed on Supabase. We don't train AI models on your private documents, prompts, or AI outputs unless you explicitly opt in to a separate program. Backup and version control are coming in future updates.
6. Does Arky support Markdown?
Yes, fully. You can export .md, Word, and PDF (import is coming soon), and paste straight from Notion without it breaking.
7. Is Arky free? What's the pricing model?
Arky is free to use. For the full breakdown including AI pricing, see arky.so/pricing.
8. How do I create or delete an account?
Head to your account settings. You can sign up, export your data, delete your account, or wipe your data anytime.
9. What features will be added in future versions?
Roadmap lives at arky.so/roadmap, and shipped updates at arky.so/changelog.
10. Is Arky a document tool or a whiteboard?
Both. Arky brings the clarity of a document and the freedom of a visual canvas into one place.
11. What role does AI play in Arky?
AI in Arky is a thinking partner. It helps you brainstorm, structure, and refine ideas right inside your workspace, working only with the context you attach to a request and what's needed to generate the response.
