Arky is designed to let you work with AI in the context of your documents.

Brainstorming with AI in Canvas view helps you develop ideas naturally while maintaining your flow of thought. This section introduces the key ways to use AI Agents.

Basic Usage

• Click a Shell or Block, or select specific text to reveal the Add to Chat button.

• Click the button or press (⌘ + L, or Ctrl + L on Windows) to attach that context to the AI.

• Attached context appears above the chat panel in the left sidebar. Click it to remove.

Shell Cards

AI can generate shell cards that can be easily dragged and dropped onto the canvas. These are typically used to provide completed content units or templates.

Modes

The current version of Arky supports Ask mode and Agent mode.

Ask mode

In Ask mode, AI does not attempt to modify your project content. Just ask questions, get responses, and drag Shell cards into your document to add content.

Agent mode

In Agent mode, AI can propose changes to your project content, which will be applied upon your approval. (Creation, modification, and deletion are possible.)
