In Arky, you can enhance your writing by attaching various resources — such as PDF files or external URLs.

By providing the AI with relevant materials (like PDFs or links), you can receive more accurate and context-aware responses.

Organizing the original sources related to your work — such as URLs or PDF context — helps others better understand and trust the full context when you share your document. It also makes it easier for them to trace back and review the original materials if needed.

In the current Alpha version, supported resource types include PDFs, Markdown, and URL. More file formats will be supported in future updates.

You can insert links directly into the document, just like the example above.

Alternatively, you can open the sidebar and add resources through the Reference Tab.

The Reference Tab provides an overview of all resources attached to the current project. Any links you add directly in the document — like the one above — will also appear here automatically.

The uploaded file will be added to your Workspace Resources, so you can easily reuse it in other AI conversations as well.

PDF Attachment

Currently, in the Alpha version of Arky, PDFs can only be used within AI Chat.
In future updates, you’ll be able to extract content from PDFs, insert it directly into your document, and have citations automatically generated.

You can reference a PDF directly in your AI conversation. To do this, click the Add Context button, then select New Files to upload a PDF.

The uploaded file will be added to your Workspace Resources, so you can easily reuse it in other AI Chats as well.

Managing Resources

In the Workspace's Resource Tab, you can manage all your resources in one place.

Each resource shows which projects it's currently referenced in, so you always know where it's being used.
