The Document view feels like Notion or Obsidian. You can write from top to bottom in a clean, linear flow. Everything from the Canvas view is shown here in the same Shell hierarchy — just in a document-style format.

Slash Command

Press / to open the command menu, where you can choose from a variety of blocks to insert into your document.

Split Block groups

While editing, press Command + Enter to split a block group into two.

Shell Focusing

You can focus on a specific Shell to work exclusively within its content. For example, if your project was called “Document View,” you could enter a Shell named “Shell Focusing” and work only on what’s inside — like a focused writing mode. This is called Shell Focusing.

When you first create a Project, it's considered the Root Shell — and by default, you're working inside that Root Shell.

Just click any Shell in the Outline tab on the left sidebar to focus on it.
